I've said on here a few times before (well, on the last two old boards for sure), that I wished that Missy Elliott (or another good set female producer/artists) would do with Sophisticated Lady what she had done with Lady's Night or Lady Marmalade. I think it would make for a great soundtrack theme song for somebody's movie, fa'sho!
Maybe Nat should consider performing R&B at these R&B festivals that appeal to the younger audience like the www.VegasSoulFest.com held annually in May, or even on the R&B day at the City of Lights Jazz 'n R&B festival held this wknd in Vegas (see www.yourjazz.com). Do it for the love of the music that she had once loved and performed! And, of course, there's the Essense Festival!
