My 9 year old asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day. I told her I had already received my gifts--my children. She said no I want to get you something, so I told her to put a bow on her Sunday morning and give me a hug. I love being a mother, so for all those mother's out there who love Natalie, here is a poem I wrote:
Happy Mother's Day
Honor, love and respect your child
Always guide, nurture, and discipline as needed
Prepare your child for the future
Praise accomplishments and accept disapointments
Years to come, your children will
Make sure they do something for you always
On this day, they will indulge your every whim
Tell you how special you are
Help their children they way you helped them
Enjoy every moment of being a mother
Remind their children how special they are
Share, honor, love and respect with their child because
During the good and bad times your children will
Always remember you helped them through the same
Yet, always showed them honor, love and respect
Love, and God bless
